As this is my first post, I would like to take the time to say thank you for taking the time out of your day to read this. This is one of my favorite motto’s, because in our busy, hectic, crazy lives, we don’t take enough time to just stop and look at the world around you. We seem to forget that we shouldn’t take this large sphere with over five billion people on it for granted. We spend our whole lives on it without taking a second glance. As children, our parents always tell us to take the time to be thankful, but as we get older, we seem to forget it. I understand it’s hard, with life dragging you down my the shoulders, but really our burdens are so small compared to the monumental things going on around us. Our teacher tries to remind us that each day is special and that you will never get this day back. When you think about it, it makes us feel obligated to love each day, whether it’s a Monday, you got into a fight with a really good friend, or someone you love is gone. We also usually take things for granted with things like family, shelter, or love, and we are soon reminded by our parents. But, our parents never seem to remind us about the world. I wonder why this is? Is it because they too have forgotten? Well, whatever the answer may be, I encourage everyone to stop what they are doing, go outside, and just take a deep breath.
